The Real Story of Ladies of the Evening

  • Silt Historical Park 707 Orchard Ave. Silt United States (map)

This event is POSTPONED until further notice due to weather and driving conditions for our presenter! A new date and time will be announced when we determine a safer time for Kathy to travel here!

Kathy Klutsch is a self-taught historian who has focused her studies on notable women. She fell in love with the study of history during high school while living in Denver. After college, raising her children required her primary focus. When she retired from her career, her next chapter allowed time for her return to her first passions: a love of historical research and the love of sharing her knowledge.

Kathy is known for her performances as notable Colorado women whose names might have easily been overshadowed by their sons, brothers, or husbands in the well known history books and popular historical fiction movies. Come and be prepare to go back in time with Kathy as she will share the “Real Story” about the Ladies of the Evening and the Red Light Districts in our state’s colorful history.
